Include quotes, war tactics and important events leading up to the battle. Your scripts should answers the questions? WHO ?- Tell about the interesting people who participated in the White Bird Battle. WHAT ? – Tell about the important historical events that happened at this site. WHERE? Tell where the site is located and where it is positioned in the route of the Nimi’ipuu Sacred Will; Journey in 1877 for Freedom of Land. Was the location advantageous for either the Nimi’ipuu or the U. S. Calvary. WHY? – Tell why the people at this important site made the choices they did. Why was this location chosen. WHEN? – Give a specific time range for the events that you describe that occurred at this site. Your script should be smooth flowing series of paragraphs not a list of answers to these questions. 

Step 3  Due date (one week)                                                 Teacher Signature_______________ Use road atlases, google maps, MapQuest and other resources to plan the exact route a motor tourist would use to follow your tour. Prepare a written script for all driving directions needed to complete the tour. A user of your pod cast should be able to listen to your clear directions while driving the route and not get lost. It is important to speak slowly and clearly using proper pronunciations and grammar. 

 Step 4 Due date (one week)                                                  Teacher Signature_______________ Create a schedule for your trip. Start by determining the amount of time a visitor should spend at each part of the battlefield. Then compute the driving distances and times between stops. Assuming that no more than five hours each day will be spent driving and that tourist will need at least 8 hours of sleep in a motel each night., plan an hour by hour schedule for your trip. Be sure to take into account the hours that each historical site is open for business. Prepare a script to describe your trip’s schedule in detail.

Step 5 Due date (one week)                                                  Teacher Signature_______________ Assume that gas cost $3.89 per gallon and a car gets 25 miles per gallon. Compute the cost of gas for the trip. Compute the cost of lodging assuming that hotels will charge an average of $100.00 per night. Allow $25.00 in meals per day. Be sure to include any entry fees to the historical site.  List all expenses of the trip on an excel spreadsheet for the costs of the trip. Prepare a script to describe your trip’s expenses.
